Remnants of Courage and Disaster in Doda

Tragic events took place in the untamed landscape of Doda, where the mountains mutter heroic legends. Tuesday night and into Tuesday morning saw the start of a counterterrorism operation that started late on Monday evening.
Shadows from the jungle loomed large above four Indian Army soldiers, including a courageous Captain. It was their duty to safeguard the people they vowed to defend by maintaining peace and security.

The Demand of the Kashmir Tigers

The Kashmir Tigers were a shadow organization that surfaced during the pandemonium and gunplay. They claimed responsibility for the encounter and were associated with the extremist group Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM), which receives support from Pakistan.
As security officers searched the woods for the elusive “Mujahideen,” fighting broke out. The Tigers vanished into the trees, a trail of sorrow behind them like phantom enemies.

Major Brijesh Thappa: A Salute to a Hero:

Leading the attack was freshly promoted Major Brijesh Thappa. His legacy was marked with sacrifice, and his footprints spoke of dedication. Naik D Rajesh, Sepoy Bijendra, and Sepoy Ajay bravely battled with him.
Their bravery was evident in the woods. They followed the terrorists running through difficult terrain, gunfire ripping through shadows and foliage.

As the darkness deepened, the woodland turned into a battlefield. Five troops suffered serious wounds. Four, including the brave officer, passed away from their wounds.
The country is in mourning. Families experience grief. Still, the determination is unwavering. The Indian Army is resolute in its determination to eradicate the evil of terrorism.
